Unplug your controller from your console or pc.

Remove the four 3mm screws with a Philips #0 screwdriver.

Remove the six 0.9mm screws with a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Remove the metal plate cover.
Find the lever inside of the controller.

Insert your Flathead screwdriver into the middle of the lever to hold it in place.
Twist the ball to remove it from the lever.
Remove the ball top from the lever.
