Replace a damaged microUSB port on your 1st generation PS4 DualShock 4 controller.

This charging assembly is only compatible with the first generation DualShock 4 controller, indicated by the part number JDS-001. The best way to determine which version you have is to disassemble your controller and look for the part number.

This is a used OEM part.

It went well! A little more difficult than I expeted but the guides were a fundamental help with this repair- I would not have been able to complete it without them!

Instead of trying to pull the glue, heat it up for a minute and the battery comes right off.

It had the 3 beep of death. I purchased 2, 8s of ram for a total of 16, however. It would not allow this. So ended up with 10gb. Initially I thought I had a bad top ram slot. But the 2gb took. But had to put them in one at a time to test them. I truly would not wanted to replace the logic board. S . . .

First, i replace botoom case my MacBook Pro and then replace 4 rubber feet.

Just do it.

Replacement went smoothly -- except for the enclosed tools. I recommend purchasing the toolkit to avoid stripping the screws.
