The Galaxy S III was released by Samsung on May 29th, 2012. The device featured many improvements from its predecessor, the Galaxy S II, including additional software upgrades, hardware upgrades and a slightly different form factor.
The Galaxy S III has a HD Super AMOLED 4.8" screen, 1.4-1.5 GHz processor, 2GB RAM (most models) and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 for the front panel. It boasts an 8 megapixel camera capable of taking photos with a 3,264 x 2,448 resolution and video with 1080p resolution.
