The 4th generation iPad mini was announced September 9, 2015 and shares much of its hardware and design with the iPad Air 2 but in a smaller package. This generation kept the 2048x1536 resolution display and the the Touch ID finger print sensor. Available case colors are gold, silver, and space gray. The iPad mini 4 Wi-Fi Only is offered in 16, 64, or 128 GB capacities.
