Everything went (almost) smoothly, a bit nervous at the beginning (both my son and I) but I could relax enough to enjoy the challenge.

Mon conseil

Be carefull on step 6 when you try to remove the copper cover. It is hold by a tiny piece of plastic snapped . . .

Slow and steady allowed everything to come apart and reassemble as the guides described.

My son broke off the end of his headphone inside his iPod Touch. Apple does not cover this under there warranty.

Went very smoothly. I took about an hour and a half to do the project. My son was really happy that he could how listen to his iPod.

Headphone jack was just about dead and I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars to replace iTouch. Nearest place that does repairs is over 300 miles away. Give it a shot I say.

Mon problème

The tip of my old headphones broke in the jack and I tried getting them out after watching YouTube videos that showed how to using super glue and q-tip. I accidentally glued the piece in forcing me to replace the part if I ever wanted to listen to music again.
