Introduction

Use this guide to remove or replace the screen in your Toshiba Satellite L305-S5946. This may be necessary if the screen is blank when the computer is on.

Turn the laptop upside-down.

Slide the right battery bay latch to the right and hold. While holding onto the latch, use a plastic opening tool to lift and remove the battery bay cover. Remove the battery.

Using your hands, remove the small connectors from the small board attached to the bottom of the LCD screen. In order to access the second connector, you will need to remove the protective plastic cover. Make sure to put this back on when installing the next screen.
