Are these upper cases interchangeable?

I bought the upper case of the 2.4 GHz Model and wanted to change it because the keyboard of that uppercase has back light. But the problem is my logic board does not have the connector for the led ribbon cable, but ifixit says that it should work and the upper cases are fully compatible. Are they interchangeable?

Thanks for the picture, I'm not sure what to say, it should be there, and you can even see the solder mount of were the connector would go if it were actually present. Apple Makes two logic boards for this model, we call them "better" and "best." since "better" has the CTO option for backlit keyboards, all logic boards are manufactured with the connector. It appears that your board was either a manufacturing defect, or the connector somehow was broken off at some point.

The ribbon cable is from the led sheet from my new topcase...The connector is not there, only the soldering contacts.

Does anybody know the right pin order?

Can i solder it with a normal cheap soldering iron or has it to be an anti static iron?

Sorry for my bad english, I am from germany ;-)
