Does anyone else have a bent iPhone 5?
My iPhone 5 bent soon after I received it, from normal use! I don't even keep it in my back pocket.
It bent backwards starting from the - volume button. If you have this problem too, please reply!
Update
… and now the Sleep/Wake button on my iPhone 5 is malfunctioning. It has just about completely ceased to function. This iPhone is not even two years old!
A lot of people doubt these words and claim it's a scam or say "iPhones don't bend by themselves!" And it's true. They don't. But if it takes just 5 Newtons of pressure to bend it, it's probably not difficult to apply that amount of pressure in even the side pocket of a pair of jeans. That's called a design flaw, not misuse or abuse.
Just sayin'.
Update
Apple's got a Sleep/Wake button replacement program for iPhone 5 now. Check their website for more info, and to see if your specific iPhone is eligible.

After some convincing (three phone calls and one trip to the Apple Store), Apple replaced it free of charge.

Evan, can you please tell me what you told them? I'm in the exact same boat as you and they dont want to even consider the fact that i didn't damage, dropped, or put pressure on it. Same bend at the volume - button. If you can see my comment, can you please reply? thank you very much.

Over the phone, they told me to take it to the Apple Store to have it replaced (he even set up an appointment for me). Once there, the Genius had a look, popped into the back briefly, and returned. He (of course) said that it was "accidental damage" according to their rulebook and I could replace it for $200 or so. I said no, thanks, and called Apple Support again when I got home. I told them I was referred to the store with the understanding that I'd get my device replaced. The representative on the phone was very understanding and immediately upgraded me to a Senior Advisor who actually has the power to replace the device. I was given the same options as before:
> Go to the Apple Store for a replacement
> Ship my phone out and have it repaired/replaced and sent back in 5-7 business days
> Have a replacement shipped first and then ship my phone out (for only $30)
Needless to say, I chose the second option (shipping it out at no cost).

Please don't lie, and don't think I'm asking you to, but it's very important to stress the fact that you didn't bend it (if that's true). In my case, I didn't look at the device too closely when I took it out of the box (I mean, who would expect a damaged device right out of the box?), so I made a point of saying that it may have arrived like that. The guy in the store didn't believe me, but I pointed out both there and over the phone that I used a case, never had it out of my sight, and always had it in my pocket, in my hand, or on a table. I also said that I've always been careful with it (and NEVER dropped it!!).
Just keep asking.
BTW, the return instructions don't mention removing screen protectors, but my phone was replaced. Thankfully I removed mine. Make sure you remove EVERYTHING from your device before sending it in, or you'll lose it.

Your device is bent backwards a tiny bit at the down button? Can you somehow add a photo to a comment? I'd like to see that. I'm sure the Apple engineers are well aware of the harsh conditions of pockets (dusty, full of lint, sometimes tight, etc.), so I find it odd that there would be a design flaw of this magnitude. Then again, nobody's perfect.
