Hello, I am looking to buy a Macbook A1185 Battery for my Early 2008 White Macbook a1181. I have been looking at used batteries but I am confused about the charging cycles. I am looking at one on ebay that says its cycle count is 271. Does the cycle count mean how many charges are left on the battery or how many times it has been charged?

That is how many times it has already charged. To see the condition of the battery download and run Coconut battery. That will give you an idea of how much of the original charge it will now hold. http://www.coconut-flavour.com
