Okay, I have had my laptop for only a few months and something bad has already happened! Everytime I try to turn on my laptop it gives me 3 beeps over and over again, also my screen isnt turning on whilst it is beeping! Someone please help, I need my laptop back

Katie Louise, you should tell us more about the exact beeps.One long and two short beeps, and a blank or unreadable LCD are indicative of either a bad mother board, a bad LCD, or bad memory modules. I would start by attaching an external monitor and see if it makes a difference. After that, pull the memory modules and reinsert one module at a time. Make sure that it is properly seated. If none of this works, you probably have a bad mother board. Hoe this helps, good luck.

The first beep is long, and then nothing happens for 2seconds than the other two go one after the other. I have a bad mother board, i tried all your steps but none of them worked :( thanks for trying to help anyway :)

3 BEEPS -- PAUSE 3 BEEPS ETC... USUALLY EQUALS MEMORY UNSEATED OR MISSING. Reseat the memory in it's sockets

My computer is beeping. There is usually 4 quick beats, then over 10 slow beats, then just random. What could the problem be?
