I want to upgrade to 160GB from 6th 80GB

my iPod classic 6Gen 80GB'HDD has red X.

so I want to upgrade my ipod classic 6th 80GB to 160GB.

I'll buy HDD (mk1626gcb or HS161JQ)and 160Gb's back cover and 160GB HDD connector,iPod Classic 160GB thick Back Cover (with headphone jack and USB dock assembled)160GB HDD connector cable, iPod Classic 160GB Battery

Are these enough tools to replace ?

I have a one more question.

I heard that no Apple logo HDD dosen't work.

It must has Apple Logo on the HDD when i replace iPod classic 6th' HDD.

Do you know is this truth or not?

That should do it.

There's no apple logo on the hard drives, they are mfg by toshiba, hitachi, samsung, Not Apple. The hdd connector is probably what someone said wouldn't work. There are aftermarket connectors that some people had problems with.
