iPod will not turn on after replacing the lcd.

Hi all, I have an ipod touch 4th gen 16gb on which I did a lcd replacement. I have done this a lot of times but never encountered this error. After I finish replaceing the lcd, before applying the glue strips on them, I checked if everything was ok, and everything worked fine. Switched off the ipod by pressing the power button and slide to power off. Then I proceeded to attach the lcd. After all this, when I tried to switch on the ipod it wont turn on, so I leave it on charge thinking it might have lost its charge. After a couple of hours nothing happened so I tried plugging it to the computer and still nothing. Then I read on on of the questions asked here that reattaching the screen will do the trick, tried that no luck. Then I tried shorting the battery no luck.

Then I tried leaving it alone for some days thinking that it might work after the charge has fully drained. So after 5 days, today I try to revive it, it is still dead. After searching more, I found that u could put the ipod into recovery mode and then restore it might work. So even the screen was blank I follow the steps to put it into dfu mode. The computer now recognizes the ipod in recovery mode, so when it tries to restore I keep getting the 1604 or 1601 error. I tried another usb cable, no luck. My computer has usb3 ports, so I then plug it to my laptop which has usb2 it still shows error 1601. I am at wits end and someone pls suggest something that I can try to bring my ipod back to life.

Sorry for such a long question but I felt I needed to write down everything so u have less questions for me. Thanks to all in advance.
