Apple ships this laptop with memory clocked at 667 MHz (DDR2 5300). Is it possible to upgrade it with one running at 800 MHz (DDR2 6400)?

After installing the 800 MHz (2+1GB) the laptop wouldn't boot - it kept on restarting. I reset the NVRAM and it started normally. Running Apple Hardware Test (I checked the 'do extensive tests' checkbox) showed no problems and it has worked fine since then.
DDR2 6400 supports 5-5-5 CAS timing of DDR2 5300, so it can be used to replace the latter.
