Can I just replace my 30 pin connector without the ribbon assembly?

Is it possible to just replace the 30 pin female connector on my iPad without getting the entire assembly?

Like if I bought this could I just replace the connector.

My assembly is fine just the pins on the connector are bent so I was hoping to save some money.

TL:DR: Can you remove the 30 pin connector from the ribbon cable?

only if you have the skills and the tools of soldering 34 very fine points without making a mistake. If you do not have the tools and or the skills, I suggest that purchase the assembly.
