Possibly Change LCD to 1680x1050 ( hi-res)

I bought Macbook Pro 15" Late 2011 i7 2.2G and AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB. Unfortunately for 1 year and 6 months, my screen have the two vertical striped on the left of screen. The solution is the changing LCD. Well, It will be better if i change the glossing to matte LCD. In addition,

Is it possibly to change LCD 1440x900 to 1680x1050 ?

Can i change the glass bezel to the matte bezel ( A1286 the native Matte Screen ) on the original case ?

Thanks machead3, You make me more confident in order to upgrade the resolution LCD. I 'm very hopeful my macbook will be alive and better than original. lol.

Options

Since the display you propose was a build to order OEM optional upgrade I see no problems. I would ensure I had a guarantee from whichever vender you purchase the display so that should a problem occur you are not responsible for return/restock fees.
