adapting a Chi Mei LCD?

Hello

Is it possible to install an N154C6 LCD panel where the original was an Optronics B154PW04 v.4, by also changing the video data cable ?

As far as I understand your writing (see Note in MacBook Pro 15" (Models A1226/A1260) LCD Panel) it's just a problem of connector location. Or are there other issues (e.g. electrical) ?

TRAN, N154C6 which version? there are numerous out as well. I recommend to look at the datasheet for both of the panels and compare it that way.

just checked both datasheets and it does appear as if the electrical difference are to minute to make a big difference. The connector is the same but the location is different. If nothing else, give it a try and see ....hope this helps.
