Spilled OJ on new MacBook Pro, have MacBook Unibody to work with

I have two laptops, a MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012 and an old aluminum MacBook Unibody 13" Model A1278.

I spilled orange juice all over the newer Mac, and now the keys are irreparably sticky. I'm wondering what my options are.

Can I swap the logic boards and use the old MB case? Can I move the new MBP RAM to the old MB to make it faster? Are there any other options?

If you haven't yet removed the battery from the damaged machine do so ASAP. The logic board should also be checked to see if it needs to be cleaned (follow tags at right for orange juice and repair liquid damage) to see what you can/should do. OJ is corrosive over time if left on the board.

You can not swap parts, there's too many differences in the years since the Model A1278 was manufactured.

The easy DIY fix is to replace the top case of the '12 machine.
