Screen's ribbon cable retaining flap broken

Hi you all guys, while I was trying to change the digitizer on my iPad third generation I disconnected the screen's ribbon cable. Unfortunately while I was doing that, I broke the retaining flap of that cable, so now it doesn't fit in place.

I'm desperate D: what can I do to fix the ribbon cable in its place?
