So far Apple has released two different AirPort boards for the laptop systems. The first one had two antenna connections and the newest model has three. Then there is the issue of the antennas them selves. The size and placement of the antennas is also very important otherwise they will not work properly (limiting your throughput). As these systems are so new no one has made the needed studies to fully understand what Apple has done.

You might want to review this thread Will it work? As you can see there is a bit of debate on the subject ;-}

In any case the part is still not available and I don't think it will be for quite sometime as Apple will eating everyone that comes off the assembly line.

OK, So lets say you got one, and lets say the antenna's will work. Do you really need that kind of throughput? Most of us just don't have internet connections that could even push 1/2 as much down. Now, if you had your own server to access then you might but that also means your server is setup to offer out that much of a stream. Again, most of us just don't have RAIDED systems that could do this.

Don't get me wrong here. In the future we will likely have this level of throughput but thats still a good five years away.

Bottom-line here save your money upgrading your AirPort board to an ac version.

You may want to translate the Korean text first. It appears they to have the same questions on it working. "Down to the newly purchased Airport Card BCM94360CSAX 802.11a/b/g/n/ac support. (I live in China, and the products are still very much in place seems to be unsolved). Supporting 802.11ac MacBook Air, Mac Mini, iMac with Airport Card, such as the shape and number of antenna ports is the difference."

It works very well and still using ac mode without problems.

But, My router is RT-AC66U and supports 1.3Gbit/s with ac mode.

Link speed indicated 1 Gbit/s on the network utility's informations.

I want a new Airport card (802.11ac Wi-Fi) for the late 2012 Mac Mini 2.3Ghz quad i7. It would seem that would be the most flexible Mac for a fix like this.

I received only a 404 message from github. Is this one of those Lisbeth Salander-type tricks where I have to click the right '0' in the message to get into the site? Just kidding.

I'm used to Apple Mac and Windows PC automatic wizards, so I hope that I don't have to learn how to read Chinese-character system pages. I can't even recognize "OK" or "NEXT" buttons in Mandarin. So I'll lurk here and at the Android Developers sites to learn how the Android OS works and is organized, before I'll ever risk changing a thing in my Onda V989 tablet.

My bad ;-{ I cut off something in the pasting of the link. Try this one: Continuity-Activation-Tool
