its probably the battery or the dock connector. Both are easy to replace. No promises though, water and electronics don't mix, we all know this.

Water damage is a pain. I'm going threw a fix with a phone. Usually after a few days the water damage turns into corrosion(white powdery substance on connectors). Best to rub them off with isopropyl alcohol in key areas if this occurs. Sure you can find those guides online. Even after doing so like with my fix, the phone is still unresponsive.

I replaced the battery, attempted boot. Failed. Disassembled entire phone and cleaned all corrosion, attempted boot. Failed. Disassembled entire phone again to check for damages or missed steps. Assured it was done properly. Attempted boot. Failed.

The phone turns on, as did before. But the screen is unresponsive. Yay. Im sure its something else I need to replace.
