Replace Apple A1237 keyboard?

A formerly 'good' friend spilled his soup on my dear old stradivarius...

Besides giving him a huge kick between his legs, I need to solve the non-functioning of some of my keys...

Does anyone out there have a guide or a vid and/or a shop to help me?

- I would love to take the keyboard out

- I probably need to clean it from inside out

- I presumably need to order a replacement keyboard (in my case: an international english one...)

Tnx!

Look at questions and answers from the liquid spill tags at the right. That will let you know what can/might have to be done to repair the machine.

Keyboards can not be DIY repaired unless you have a lot of small electronics repair tools and experience.

If you're using this machine without looking inside for corrosion liquid damage you could kill it entirely over time.

You may have to clean the logic board a very advanced DIY repair. At the least you will need a new top case (keyboard is integral)
