What is this part? Where does it go?

This small, black metal part fell out during an iPhone 4S display assembly replacement. I turned the iPhone upside down and the part fell out. I have no idea where it goes. Please click this link to view a photo of the part.

I am open to any suggestions as to what it is and where it should go.

Secondly, could this be why my Wi-Fi is now greyed out in Settings (i.e. not working)?

Thanks for your help.

Hi.

This part protects the proxy sensors. It goes on top of it.

Doesn't think that this part have anything to do with the WiFi. You may have to reflow the WiFi-chip.

Thanks for answering my question! I will try to reflow the chip after trying alternatives (the grounding clip near the headphone jack needs replacing - I cannot remove the 1.5mm screw from the standoff and I think its looseness could be causing the Wi-Fi issue - any ideas if that could be correct?
