Dropped my Surface RT and now screen has some sort of greenish static?

My Surface RT was dropped by my little boy, screen didnt break, but once any white page is displayed on screen, the tablet shows like some green static after i start touching screen. With that said, do you think i need a new lcd assembly? Or might it be a loose ribbon cable on the daughterboard or anywhere internally? Screen works fine with dark colors and shows that static with bright colors.

Options

I suspect the driver chips mounted on the LCD panel has become dislodged. Unless you have some visible damage to the case which could have cut the ribbon cable. I would suspect the display needing replacement. Then it gets into the question on how much will it cost to repair. Did you talk to Microsoft yet? I would.

I do not have visible damage! So im guesing its just a chip dislodgement? Would that mean i can go into the surface and lodge it back in? because the screen works fine its just sometimes that it shows thegreen static

I have not talked to micosoft yet but sure will the lcd display for the surface runs about 179 on amazon but i think ill have a chat with microsoft support first see if they can give me a hint to fix it! Thank you for your anser dan
