I replaced the screen ok, but I inadvertently broke the subwoofer attachment from board (step 4) Everything works except for the subwoofer. What should I do?

Contact a small electronics repair shop (or computer repair shop) and see if they can reconnect the part - it's not a job for a DIYer who managed to tear it off.
Soldering/replacing logic board components requires special tools, solder and lots & lots of practice.
You can use USB audio adaptor or headphones/external speakers as a workaround. USB audio is separate from analogue.
