No SD card in Nikon Coolpix L810?

I took a picture with my camera - not realizing that I didn't have my SD card in. I do not have the cord to transfer photos onto the computer. Is there any way I can put the picture from the camera memory onto the SD card? Is there a transfer option for this on the camera? Worried because now the picture is just "stuck" on my camera :( Help.

Very Helpful! I didn't realize my card was out of my camera. I took several photos and then realized they weren't on the SD card and had no idea how to transfer within the camera. This was a great relief. Thanks to Nikon for thinking of this in their programming! Doug

Yes, I had to find my disk since this was no help. Press the playback button. Then press the MENU button. Arrow down to see "Copy" and press ok. This will give you the option to copy from the camera to SD card or from the SD card to the camera.

With SD card installed, click the Playback button (button with the play triangle). It will tell you No Images are Stored in Memory if your SD card is empty or will just show what's on the card. That's ok!! Click the Menu button while in playback mode. Select Copy, Select Camera to card, Choose either Selected images to chose what you want to copy over or All Images. That simple!!

Relax!

You can transfer your saved image from the internal memory to your SD card later if you forgot to install the SD card by copying. Refer to your manual or this PDF copy Nikon CoolPix L810. Note on table of contents xviii Copy (Copy Between Internal Memory and Memory Card).

Refer to your Reference Manual CD section: Binocular 42 on how to do it.

Granted, you cannot see the internal memory pics witha card in, but, follow "SDF's" instructions above, and the internals will be transfered to your card in total.

SDF,

I tried that but as soon as I insert my SD card I am unable to find the photos that I have taken on my camera without the SD card in. Therefore what you've said is impossible! Anyone else have any ideas?

You cannot see the internal pics with card in, however they will transfer if you follow the instructions above.

1. Insert SD card into camera

2. click menu (without worrying about where your images are - you get to select location in next step)

3. go down to copy, click on it

4. select "Camera to Card" option

5. select, "all images" or "selected images"

6. Done
