Hello I replaced my iPad mini wifi digitizer, I still have not glued it down, the screen comes on and can unlock it, but it start to act crazy by opening apps on it's own, pressing buttons on it's own, swiping left and right on it's own too. The left side of the screen will not respond either. Help please. Thank you.

Hi, try unplugging the digitizer cables and re-plugging them again. Then do a hard reset on the iPad by holding the Power and Home buttons for around 12 seconds. If that doesn't work and everything is connected correctly, it is possible that you might have received a defective replacement screen digitizer.

It re-seating the cable and hard-rebooting doesn't solve it, I then agree with Jose that you have a defective digitizer assembly, and it could be that you teared or pinched the cable of the digitizer when handling/installing. Watch out if/when you try installing a new digitizer, especially be careful not to pull hard on the cable in any way, or to pinch it between the glass and the aluminum frame for example.
