greyed out iPhone 4s
hi i got an iphone 4s that just the wifi is greyed out. is there a way to fit is without opening the iphone?

No, you have to open the phone. Find the wifi chip and rework it with a heat gun...
Worked for me a several times..

Well I kept the iPhone4s in the freezer for 45 minutes then it worked for a brief while then again the Wifi greyed out.
Wonder if there is a solution or I need to try again ?
Put simply, the wifi chip on the 4S is susceptible to temperature variations. Once it fails, you could revive it temporarily by heating or freezing.
I would not bother having it replaced. I feel they always fail again whatever the solution.
The cheapest workaround though is to re-heat the WiFi chip. There's a guide about it on iFixit. But such procedure can kill your phone. Use it as a last resort.
I hate to say it, but BEST solution is to replace your phone.
