So I accidentally popped a tiny piece off the logic board of my iphone while changing the screen. I had done this tons of times, but just wasn't careful I guess. Now the LCD and digitizer don't work. Anyways, question 1, what is the piece I popped off (in the red circle)? And is there any type of repair service for this since theres no way I can solder things that small?

Cameron, that part is reference designator L42 90oHM-50MA TCM0605-1 which is a common mode inductor. This particular one is for the compass circuitry. A Panasonic EXCX4CE900U is a match. So, not sure where you are located, I'd check with digikey.com or Mouser.com for a replacement. Again, not knowing where you are located, you might want to contact user jessabethany on here for the actual repair. Hope this helps,good luck.

If it makes you feel any better, I did the exact same thing one month ago per this Answer (in that post I have incorrectly called the component L44 when it is actually L42). jessabethany helped me work out what was wrong with my phone and having read through the comments on her facebook page I would recommend her for a fix. I am in Brisbane Australia and as I could not find anyone local to fix it, I tried it myself. Not a good result as you can see from the image - I got some solder on the LCD connector and managed not to fix the problem.
L42 goes between the A6 processor and the connector to the LCD.

Well I've just come on to say that jessabethany did a FANTASTIC job of fixing it! Not only was it cheaper than I thought, but quite quick too! I would highly recommend her!
