Transferring music from secondhand iPod 4 to iPod 5

I purchased a secondhand ipod 4 last year for my daughter , we were lucky enough that the previous owner left over 200 songs on it which she purchased off iTunes. We changed all the settings to my daughters data, including iTunes account, have purchased more under this account.

We have now upgraded to the 5 and have successfully transferred all files and music to the 5, however the 200 plus songs that were from the previous iPhone 4 owner have not come through, and do not show up on iTunes or on my computer.. My question is - is there anyway we can transfer her songs onto the new ipod 5??

Not very technically minded here so easy answers/ solutions would be good :)

Best software for doing what you are stating is CopyTrans Manager (Click the words for the link to the official download page.) Directions are pretty straightforward and it much more simplistic than iTunes.

To be honest, you can't transfer the music from the old iPod to your iPod 5 directly without outside help. If you do want to move the 200 songs to your iPod, you can make it by buying some third-party software which allows you move music from one iDevice to another iDevice without iTunes account. Here is a guide about how to transfer music from iPod to iPod. Absolutely, it also mentioned an iPod music transfer tool named AnyTrans. Anyway, buy a software or give away those songs!

If you are willing to pay, there is a transfer program available for you - iPhone Tranfer/iPhone Transfer for Mac. This is compatible with iPad and iPod, you can use it to transfer songs from iPod to iPod. And you can also use it to transfer music from iPhone to computer.
