My screen at the bottom left hand corner is lifting away from the device - as if it require glue to sit in place correctly - i know it is the correct size screen but it just wont flatten and click into place. very confusing i know but it is the best way i can explain it. Please help

The bottom left of the iPad is where the cable for the digi lays and that is probably what is causing the screen to not seed correctly.
I would make sure that you have the cord pushed up against the frame under the LCD and the back part of the flex is under the logic board. With an iPad 4 there should be just the smallest amount of the flex cable that comes around the LCD.
