possibly bad battery? will not power up.

My 4th Gen iPod when plugged into usb or A/C charger, the apple logo will appear then i get a battery with an explination point symbol, and if left plugged in this will happen over and over. but sometime's it will show a file folder/explination symbol. I was told that it was for sure a battery issue.

thanks for the reassurance, sounds like you have delt with this problem before and i will be installing a new battery.

Yeah that'd be a bad battery, you can get a new one here and installation instructions are right here, you'll also need these three tools.
