So I just replaced the front glass on my galaxy s4. The lcd worked before replacing but now that the glass is back on it's not working. My bottom buttons, back and menu, work as they should but it's not registering my touch anywhere on the screen. The LCD doesn't seem to be damaged, no cracks or discoloration.

At times when we do a s4 glass replacement and the touch stops working. You may need to re-apply the LOCA. If there is too much liquid optically clear adhesive in between over time it can expand a little bit and cause this issue. Hope this works to fix your touch not working from the s4 glass replacement.

Thanks for the reply but I didn't use LOCA, just two sided adhesive film. I'm afraid I must have torqued some micro ribbon cable or something.

Guys my touch works but it automatically makes touches on top right side of my phone but.

This is my case as well. The replacement seemed to go very easily per the various tutorials on the net but afterwards touch was not working. Everything else works fine but not the touch screen.

No, it doesn't. I wasn't sure it was supposed to, I thought maybe the glass had to be on because I read somewhere else that sometimes if the tape or adhesive is too thin and the glass touches the LCD, it will cause it not to work.
If touch doesn't work directly on the LCD. . . is there any possible upside?
