I've had my printer for a while now, and I've run into an issue where my printer will start skipping and pushing it's y-limit boundary. There is no "click" of the switch in the back.

If your printer is going too far back and there is no audible click then your y-limit is malfunctioning. This means your mechanical limit switch is either not connected or malfunctioned and should be replaced.

make sure the firmware is updated and check the bed range settings in your slicing software.
