After replacing my friends screen, she says that the camera app does not open, and that the earpiece doesn't sound clear. I was going to try to reseat the screen and see if there was a cable snagged. Has anyone else experience something similar and can offer advice?

The earpiece issue is a common problem when replacing the screen and is caused by the rubber gasket on the new screen being squished underneath and partially blocking the sound. As for the camera, check the flex to make sure there are no tears and that the flex is properly seated. Worst case scenario, you may have caused some board damage preventing the camera from opening.

Did you buy a replacement with those parts or did you use the old parts? If they are new, they may be damaged.
