Macbook Pro 13" late 2013

I currently have 4GB of memory and am wanting to upgrade to more memory. Is it possible to upgrade?

Sadly no, The memory is soldered to the logic board.

You'll need to sell your system and buy a new unit with more memory. The other option here which is more expensive (and risky) is to buy a new logic board and swap it out.

Best to sell your unit for a newer model with more memory.

No, Standard RAM: 4 GB, 8 GB* Maximum RAM: 16 GB*

Details: *4 GB or 8 GB of RAM is onboard by default, but it could be upgraded to 16 GB at the time of purchase at additional cost. RAM cannot be upgraded later.

Yes they can I just switched my rams each 2 gigs to 8 a piece now I have 16 gigs instead of 4. I know this post is hella old but people still search and we wouldn't want them to be discouraged now would we?

How and where?

Wooptiefukindoo is wrong and probably talking about a different Macbook Pro model. The only way to upgrade the RAM in these models would be to replace the soldered RAM modules like they do in this video:

I don't know why this specific model, the Macbook Pro Late 2013, is not featured in the list of compatible Macs under the video. Maybe it's not possible even with that method?
