phone show that it charging and then the battery icon goes away

I have the zte grand s, when trying to charge battery the battery icon will show that's it charging but then after a minute or to phone will go dead and will not charge and i cannot get the phone to turn on.

Options

Sounds like you may have a bad battery. Replace it and it should charge and function normally.
