both fans are on but nothing else works
my laptop has refused to power on.,..so I opened it...I notice that the 2 fans are rotating but the screen doesn't turn on...the startup sound isn't heard....the keyboard doesn't light up. I've tried connecting it to an external display and nothing still happens!

Did you connect the main power cable from the battery to the motherboard?
