Hi Jeff,
Usually, when there is no more storage left, you cannot (take pictures anymore and cannot) download/receive messages since there is no place available to store them on your phone.
Check the storage both on your internal storage and your Micro SD card if available. You may need to remove data such as pictures, videos (those take a lot of space), voice memo, chat (such as WhatsApp) conversations, etc. to make place for new data.
You may need to install an SD card or upgrade to a bigger one. Most models can accept up to 32GB SD cards.
And there is a chance your storage memory is corrupted. If the above does not solve your problem, you will need to wipe/reset your memory cache.

My zte798bl is a piece of crap. It gets hot like fire, now I lost texting. I reset the whole phone and didn't help. I don't have the patience for this. I have had free state phones last longer,and those weren't smart phones...I hate middle of the road smart phones. It's hit and miss whether u get a decent one
I agree. I'd rather get an older top of the line / flagship device. They usually perform better, last more, and have spare parts more readily available.
I'm not a big fan of zte either
ZTE Blade Max x crap. Worse phone I've ever had. Freezing up constantly now not receiving texts. I'll never buy if fact I'll go out of my way to tell everyone who will listen how bad the companies phones are.

That's my problem also
Same here. It worked for a while and then stopped. Can't receive or s1024end so had to reinstall messenger. Not a happy camper.
I just got the ZTE, input the sim in and did the reset followed the same instructions etc. At first in was able to make calls and I received one picture message but couldn't send or receive sms messages, now I cant make or receive calls or texts, I cant do anything, literally just got this a couple of days ago

I have an Obama phone I haven't been able to receive any text messages for a few days finally sent one to my Dad and it said it was disabled. Used my moms tonight to text myself and it didn't go through how do I enable again or fix this. With the fires going on I need to my to be working in case of emergency please help

i have a Z981 and i can't see a missed call or message on the screen

it was a software software problem and reset to factory settings did not work so took
the phone back to MetroPCS and got a new ZTE ZMAX Pro Z981

I just started having a issue where I can send text but not receiving text. Can someone help me crickett ia lost I think and not able to help.
Ive restarted powered off even at one time did the change aio to crickett on the apn setting reset those as well. Im lost as well and nothing is helping .

I to had this problem. Fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling both android wear and resetting watch. Had to do this twice, but you have to get to the screen on android wear that asks which notifications you want to receive.

I found out it is because your data is off.
Go to home screen scroll down the notification and make sure your data is on... (Next to WIFI buttin) easy to turn off and on

I can receive messages from any of my contacts EXCEPT my husband's messages. I can send messages but can't receive his replies or his incoming calls, I've tried restarting the phone, clearing storage and the data has been on. Someone help

I too am having this problem. My husband isn't receiving my texts. I end up sending him screen shots of what I texted to verify what I've sent. This happens both ways, some days he can't receive mines and other days I can't receive his. He has original ZTE z980 I have ZTE z982. What's the fix? Resetting msgr is getting quite annoying...
I have the ZTE Max and just recently it has stopped receiving text. It says that I have chosen not to receive them but I'm not sure what I've done for this to happen.

the best way to fix the ZTE cell phones is to throw the phone in garbage and buy a samsung Galexey any one will work fine
You people need to update to a better technology. If you don't want to loose your long time customers like me.

I finally just got my wife a Motorola Moto E4 and she no longer has issues. The ZTE was junk.
