My imac will not turn back on.
While online my computer shut down.
No lights or sound of any kind.
It was not hot.
I checked the power cord & surge protector.
There has never been a problem in 9 years.
What can I check to figure out how to fix it?

There are diagnostic lights to the right of the RAM slots, (these are sometimes covered by a small piece of black tape, remove the tape. Remove the cover and observe and see if they change when trying to start up. My first guess is a failed power supply.

This is my 1st time try to fix a computer. How do I get to the ram slots?
