there is a ODD sensor cable is loose where does it connect

No this is a black and gray cable right down corner of the motherboard and it is connected to motherboard below it says ODD temp? Thanks for your concern.

Are you talking about a cable coming off the optical drive?

This picture from the teardown shows a black/white cable connector, is that what you're talking about? iMac Intel 27" EMC 2309 and 2374 Teardown
