do you know model number of lcd panel in macbook core 2 duo 1.83(MA699LL/A probably)

i want to make external display,for this i need to buy CONTROLLER BOARD

i just dont want open plastic that surround lcd panel

Options

If your looking for the exact model screen installed in your macbook Launch terminal then copy and paste this

ioreg -lw0 | grep IODisplayEDID | sed "/[^<]*</s///" | xxd -p -r | strings -6

then hit return it will give you the model installed in your mac until you want to open it.

Opening the plastic bezel would'nt do anything anyway but your going to need to open it if you plan on replacing it anyway.
