Where can I purchae the top glass screen?

Hi ,

I appreciate your excellent iWatch Tear down guide. Unfortunately I have cracked my iWatch glass at the upper left side of my watch. I got an estimate of $200 (ouch), from Apple retail store staff to have them fix it. By the way I have allow them to ship it off for 5 days before getting my watch back.

I want to perform the repair myself. Will you be selling a the glass for replacements anytime soon or is their another reliable source I can order replacement glass from?

I have found the front glass replacement on eBay for about $30.00 dollars.

So disappointed ! WHY REPLACE A WATCH IF YOU NEED TO place if your screen gets damaged? It is a laugh.

When you buy any expensive watch, you will be able to replace the glass

Yes the glass and the LCD are boned together I am still trying to find a way to get them apart without damaging the LCD beyond repair. Can't find any suppliers for the LCD

First of all the Apple watch isn't the easiest of repairs, you will more than likely damage something just opening it.

And I also believe that the glass and OLED screen are bonded together.

Tom Walker, Just to add to Ged's good answer, find below a video link showing how to change the glass/digitizer and a couple links to possible replacement glass/digitizer, which you can also do a search for possible better pricing.
