I am not getting incoming text messages

I have problem with incoming sms text messages. I can send the text messages. But I'm not getting the reply from them ? I had contacted the service provider they asked me to change the message centre number, even then im not not getting the sms. So they asked me to check if that contact number is black listed. How do i check this
