Went off while plugging usb

Hello,

today I was using my Macbook outside. It is about 35C outside, but I used my laptop online for about 15 minutes. I wanted to plug my camera wire but when I plugged the wire in Macbook died in a second I plugged it in. I thounght that it may be because of the battery, but when i plugged the battery wire in it still doesn't work. The green light on a battery is kind of blicking, that doens't normally happen. I thought that it may be overheated or something, but it is cooled down and still nothing happens. Not even the battery percentage on the left side of the Mac body doesn't work.I searched the internet and tried everything and still noving works My Macbook is pretty new, only about 5 months old. Thanks for help.

Hi,

Please try this.

Disconnect the laptop from the charger. Follow this guide to remove the bottom cover and unplug the battery THEN remove the RAM. Use PLASTIC TOOLS only inside your computer, and be very careful.

Then proceed to unplug the HDD cable (only yellow marked cable in step 10).

Now press and hold power button for 20 seconds.

Put back everything in reverse. Battery should be last. Then plug the charger.

Now try to restart your computer. Does it work?

Let me know otherwise we'll try something different / more.

Thank you very much for answering. I am not going to be able to do that, I would probably cause more damage, but I will take my laptop to a person that can do that and hopefully your guide will work.

Good luck, let us know how it works. Don't plug that thing in anymore.

If this happens again, you MAY need to replace the MagSafe (the small DC-in board, if this happens again, enquire about it and we will explain more).
