Maximum RAM that can be installed
According to MacWorld article, the A1260 can accommodate 6 gigs of ram, but there are only two slots. How can 6 gigs be installed?

Per Apple, it's 4GB. However, this model has been tested and confirmed to address 6GB of memory. It will not address more the 6GB. The best bet is for stability, use the Apple rated 4GB memory max. For maximum memory, go with a 4GB and 2GB stick and put 6GB in.
