My Sony Walkman Lithium Battery Has a Hole in the Outer Wrapper

While trying to open my Sony Walkman NWZ-E453, I accidentally punctured the outer wrapper of the battery as seen below (Yes, I know that all the iFixit guides warn about this).

It isn't very visible in the image, but there is a small hole.

Can I just put tape over the hole or do I need to buy a replacement battery? If so, where could I buy one (I tried to look for one but couldn't find the right one).

Thanks in advance for all answers

P.S. The battery isn't very good anymore anyways, so it doesn't matter if I have to replace it.

Anonymous, I'd definitely change the battery. A. because of the not " very good anymore" probably not holding a charge for long and B. because of the damage. To find a replacement, take a look at the numbers on the battery and do a search with that.

Thanks for the tip, the only problem is that I'm having trouble finding the battery. The number is US323450 A7H, but the only place I've found it is here and I don't want to buy a no name battery. Also, if the battery isn't very good doesn't matter too much to me right now, I just want the Walkman to work in some way. The battery isn't broken in itself, it's just the outer pouch, so unless the battery actually does break and produce gases or something it technically shouldn't matter, but I don't know too much about this kind of stuff. Sorry for bothering you with so many demands.

Do you see that 1-758-XXXXXXX number on your battery? what number is it?

There's something similar at least: 1-756-920-12. I added an image of the other side in my question so you can see all the numbers on it.

You can find it at AliExpress for some 3 U.S. I, personally didn't buy it because of the delivery time (some 3 months). If you want to have it earlier, the delivery cost might be too much -about some 50 bucks.
