Options

After reassembling, printer won't turn on

After following the HP Photosmart D110a Scanner Glass Replacement tutorial and reassembling, the printer won't turn on.

All wires were reconnected and the power button face was reinserted.

I was not grounded when I disassembled the printer.

Options

Disassemble the printer as you did when replacing the glass, there is a small cable that you need to make sure is connected properly. Recheck all flex cables. Being grounded will not short the printer out. Test outlet also with a lamp, be sure outlet works.

Rechecked flex cables and tried a different outlet. Printer powers on again.
