I'm having really slow responses on anything like trying to get online or playing a game. I haven't messed with the computer for 2-3yrs and I would just like to reset the whole thing to start over

kricker, that will require you to gt all the drivers for your computer beforehand. You will also need a copy of your OS .i.e Win7 etc. Once you want to go that route, reformat your drive and reinstall your OS as well as all the drivers needed. Then reinstall any software you want to use. There is no magic restore etc. windows has a tendency of bloating and you will have plenty of residual files and settings that would interfere.
