I have an Xbox 360 E and ive been doing research on a new disc drive. i keep getting pictures of the Slims S drive and figured the face plates are just different. Just need a little info for a repair.

Youll probably have to take it out and get a model #, I think the slim had the lite-on dg16d4s & dg16d5s.

yeah i took it out. its the DG16D5S model. the ones i was finding had the Xbox 360 S Faceplates. same system just different aesthetic. this confirms my suspicions though thanks for the info!!!
