Battery not charging after shock

Hello,

I wanted to change my Nexus 5 battery which didn't work. I followed the guide and unplugged every connector but I drilled the battery while removing it which made a spark. I'm silly :/ I tried installing two batteries but the phone only turns on when it's plugged to USB and the battery is not plugged inside. Then it works if I remove the battery but it is stuck at 0%.

May the spark have burned an electrical circuit? What parts should I replace?

Thank you very much!

Yiakes, a shock is never a good thing when it comes to motherboards, that's why its always recommended that you ground yourself properly. Being that you already tried two batteries, you can rule that one out. Since the phone does function properly without the battery the motherboard could have no damage to it ( or else you'd know). I would suggest changing changing the charging assembly. Ifix it sells it for 29.99. Link for it is below. Below is their word.

If your Nexus 5 is experiencing problems charging, the problem is most likely a bad battery. This charging assembly would be the next thing to try if a battery replacement doesn't solve the problem.

This is a used OEM part.
